Select Large Blocks of Text in Word

Click where you want the selection to start and scroll down to where you want the selection to end then hold down the shift key and click again – the text will be selected. This tip for Microsoft Word is particularly useful if you have a fast computer and you find the text shooting past when you try to select with a mouse.

Change the Default Document Font

Use Watermark in Microsoft Word

To use the watermark, click Format > Background > Printed Watermark. Make your selections and click OK. If you expect to use a watermark regularly, create a template (see No. 1 above). Remember that there is a fine line between cool and irritating. If people must struggle to read the document because of the watermark, they may give up. Reducing the Used Area in Excel Sheet

To reduce the used area, Find the last cell that contains data in the sheet. Delete all rows after this cell, as well as the columns to the right of the cell that do not contain data. Press Ctrl+S to save the file. The address of the last cell in the used area is updated when the file is saved.

Background Text

Using Microsoft Word, to insert your background text, click on FORMAT, Background, Printed Watermark. Now click on the “Text” button, type your text in the text box, choose a font, choose a size or use the “Auto,” pick a color for your text and a layout, either diagonal or horizontal.
