Cook the rice in a large amount of boiling salted water until tender. Drain thoroughly and serve, or keep warm in a sieve over a little boiling water.

Does your rice dry out when you reheat it? Next time, add 2 tablespoons of liquid for each cup of cooked rice. Cover and heat for a few minutes on the stove or in the oven. In the microwave, cook on high about 1 minute per cup. Fluff it with a fork and enjoy.
If you burn a pot of rice, place a slice of white bread on the top of the rice. Let it sit for a few minutes (5-10). The burnt taste will be gone but be sure NOT to scrape the bottom of the pan. Just use as much as you can without touching the bottom.
