Speed Up Windows XP
Stop unneeded programs from starting when Windows XP starts 1) Start -> Run -> type msconfig -> Hit Enter 2) Click on ‘Startup’ tab, ‘Uncheck the programs from the list you do not want that starts with Windows. 3) Hit ‘OK’ -> Restart Windows. Please be careful while disabling programs. You must know which program you do not want to allow to start with Windows. If you are unsure, then do not disable / uncheck the program.
