Boil 4 gm of coriander seeds in water (1 litre) till it reduces to half the quantity and drink it warm. It reduces the flow and pian during menses.
A bath prepared by putting an entire Chickpea plant in hot water is beneficial in painful menstruation. The plant also may be used for a sitting steam bath.
Papaya is also good to reduce menstrual pain and discomfort among unmarried girls. It regulates the contractions of uterus and the menstrual flow.
